Presidio North, for the Santa Ynez Valley

Presidio North brings swordplay to Northern Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley. It is a recreational class taught one day per week and meant to introduce the basic concepts of sport fencing. The first hour of each class is taught in a group format, aimed primarily at beginning-level fencers. The second hour of class allows the intermediate fencers to practice their sparring.

Students in Presidio North classes should acquire their own fencing gear (mask, jacket, glove, chestplate, and foil). We encourage fencers to consider the starter kits available through the vendors on our Equipment page.
